3 ways to style a scarf
We are well and truly into autumn which means one really important thing – SCARF SEASON!
Let’s start with – what is a scarf?
Well, not only is it my favourite accessory but by far, the most versatile. Scarves can compliment any outfit or be a statement piece unto themselves. At GD HQ, we’ve got three awesome ranges to choose from - and they’re perfect for any season! If you're looking for something cosy to wear during winter (think football games and outside events) we’ve got you covered with our thick winter shawls. But if you're after something a bit lighter, for those cool autumn and winter days, check out our autumn/winter range. And don’t forget our everyday range- these are slightly lighter again and make the perfect outfit accessory that you can wear all year round!
Three ways to wear a GD scarf
Whether you are opting for a cosy winter statement or looking for a transeasonal piece like our lightweight scarves there are plenty of ways to rock our scarves.
Here are three ways I love to style my scarf:
1. Draped over shoulders
A simple and elegant way to make the scarf the focal point of your outfit. A top tip is to pick a scarf that has a pop of colour, simply pair it with a neutral colour like white top and let the scarf be the star of your outfit.
2. The loop
This is by far the best way to tie a scarf during late autumn/winter. Creating the loop de loop effect means more warmth around your neck and perfect if you want to wrap around and layer over a high-neck jumper or collared shirt.
3. The blanket
Our winter shawls are perfect to wrap around your shoulders. These beauties are a delicious 70cm x 180cm in dimension which means they make for the perfect shoulder or lap blanket if you need an extra layer this winter.
So there you have it – three super quick and easy ways to wear a scarf. If you are still unsure which scarf is right for you don’t hesitate to email or dm us, we are always happy to help!
